Here's a quick look at the track at La Bresse via Gee's Contour. Gee qualified third today, so look for him to be gunning for the top step of the podium tomorrow.
Ruts are apearing everywhere, i think the tech on this track is harder than what it appers apart from at 1:02 whereas if you are of atherton breed however you just jump straight over. come on Gee!!
unbeleivable, i know theres a big difference between ridding a course to seeing it rode through the eye of a contour in the sence that its easier to see whats comming and what the grounds like but damn this vid deffo shows why gee is pretty much on the podiums all the time coz watching the vid i barely had time to see the ground in the corners and gee just rides them like they aint there at all, total respect for gee and all other riders at this level, awesome..
As opposed to any other camera with an onboard mic when you're riding like the wind? You think other camera brands magically make wind noise disappear?
IMO, this track seems pretty lame. Maybe because Gee is railing the hell outta it, it just seems short. I dunno. For a WC race, this may be the weakest track yet. Not that it looks like an easy course by all means, but c'mon, less ski slope grass and wood, and more tech/rocky trails in the woods would be nice.
If the video is jumpy or glitchy then you may want to try watching it on a different computer. It plays perfectly smooth on my machine. As with any HD video the speed of the processor will have a big influence on how smoothly the video plays.
Contour's video player always takes a while to get started, once it gets started it is fine tho. On another note, i had a dream about riding this track last night, although some of the Claw's Invitational course was mixed in there. i was a bit puzzled about why they would have skinnies on a downhill track.
Really fast ! It's fun to see what confidence does... Look a the line choices in the rocky sections ! : ) With all this grass: hope it won't rain... Bad G-Out at 2:04 !
